Ive never even been able to use the app. It loads, I can see the cover page, then it crashes. Every time. Dont bother getting this until the developer fixes this.

The articles are fascinating, the recipes are wonderful. The app unfortunately crashes ALL THE TIME. I have to restart my entire IPod to continue using the app. I really hope they fix it up, because the material is so great, but the crashes are frustrating.

Wont even run now - crashes on startup every time.

I have had this app for some time, and bought the Super Favorites. Unfortunately, when I got a new iPad I could not get the saved materials to move over to the new device, and despite repeated emails to the app creators, I have had no response. Not an impressive level of customer service.

I got this app to stop crashing only after I deleted the app, reloaded it, and then would not allow it to send push notifications. I am posting this to helps others with a work around and to let you know where the problem with the app might be found. I like it so far. I am hesitant to purchase the super favorites because I am not sure if this means I get access to all the .99 issues or just another collection of recipes. Hopefully the bugs are fixed soon.

Had to replace my iPad and none of my purchases inside this app restored… Total scam.

I had bought over 30+ issues from the store over the last year and now they are gone and the so called " Restore" is useless. It wont even hold the issue from the previous week now. The app is free so if you want to look at his weeks offering, its OK for that but DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING from the store. You WILL get ripped off. I am very disappointed.

I stopped receiving new issues in early December, and when I tried reinstalling the app, I lost all of my past issues and now have no possibility (other than paying) to get them back. I tried "registering" from within the app to see of that would help, and for some reason that also no longer worked. At first I loved getting the digital subscription, but now, after all of the editions that I had have been deleted, and the app doesnt seem to be working, Im giving up.

Have not recd a new issue since dec 2012. They are supposed to release a new issue every wk. very disappointing.

What happened ?? This was my favorite website,,, not any more....

I dont think they are coming back - they dont even answer emails. They cant run a business - printed or electronic. Good riddance.

In order to use this app, you must give it full access to your Facebook information, including all your friends information. I think this is way too intrusive. FOLLOW-UP C R A P This S$!^ application doesnt even work!

There hasnt been a new issue since Christmas 2012! Whats up with that?

After multiple installs and reinstalls thinking something was wrong I got an answer to my email stating Gourmet Live had published its last issue in Dec 2012. However, the app still takes your money if you purchase an annual subscription, which Im sorry to say, I foolishly did. Oh and you dont even have access to past issues for your money. Apple should not offer this app at the store or at least let people know there is no recent content.

Is this app still supported? Havent seen updated content in a long time.

This app has not updated since Christmas 2012.. In app purchases never show up.. So called rewards have no rhyme or reason ...the Christmas cake is quite good..but really it is September! Dont bother..it is not what you or I expected or wanted.

Feb 7, Went shopping and ready to do one of my recipes. The App would not even start. Rebooted Phone (IOS 7.x up to date) no help there. Updated app. No help there. Removed app, re-downloaded and installed. Re-synced. Quit app, went back in and it worked. Previously I used the app a half dozen times and it worked. Not quite sure what happened. No IOS upgrade since initial install. It just dropped dead when I needed it! Hopefully they stay on top of this. I keep it simple. I just read the recipe when I am shopping.

It would be so nice to see Gourmet return. It is sorely missed in the food mags universe. The photos look great and you are tempted to think its back but mostly recycled content and near constant crashes and pleas for money make this app pretty diassapointing. Gourmet in print was elegant and intelligent. This is dumbed down, greedy and veers towards USA today style journalism. Conde Nast drags another venerable institution into corporate blandness and dysfunctionality. Since I wrote this, the app is so unstable it wont even load. Just light some money on fire instead of buying this and supporting conde Nast.

Its crazy that this app is still available. While they are set up to take your money, accessing content is nearly impossible. It stalls and crashes, but even when its working its a nightmare to navigate and has so few actual recipes. I fell victim to this purchase because I loved the magazine, and thats what theyre counting on. Do yourself a favor and stay away.
